Easter EGG-stravaganza ~ Friday, April 22 ~ 1:00 - 3:00 pm Join the Easter Bunny and the Currituck Duck for a traditional Easter egg hunt in Currituck Heritage Park. There will be two egg hunts: one for the very young and one for the older children. Plus lots of fun children's activities like Balloon Art with Magic Mike; Pony Rides with the Corolla Wild Horse Fund; Coloring & Face Painting; Egg & Spoon and Sack Races; Bean Bag Toss; Refreshments and more ... Admission and Parking are free. Pedal-Foot-Paddle Triathlon ~ Saturday, April 23 ~ 8:00 am Join us for a special triathlon beginning and ending in Currtuck Heritage Park. The "Pedal-Foot-Paddle" starts with a 7-mile scenic cycle through Corolla followed by a 2-mile run on the beach at low-tide, wrapping up with a 1-mile kayak paddle on the Currituck Sound. For the more leisurely-minded enjoy the fun event, "Land and Light" - climb the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, then stroll through the park ending at the front porch of the historic Whalehead Club.
