In 2004, Keith & Jill Cummings moved from New Jersey to Corolla, NC and purchased Corolla Bait & Tackle – something we are all grateful for! Ever since the Cummings moved here in 2004, Corolla Bait & Tackle has been a great resource for local fishermen and visiting anglers alike! Whatever your fishing needs may be: rods, reels, bait, tackle, rod repairs, fishing reports and more, Corolla Bait & Tackle is your “go to” source. They specialize in Penn, Okuma, Diawa and Sea Striker rods and reels.
As far as bait - you, name it: blood worms (ewww, but I guess fish like them!), frozen shrimp, squid and finger mullets, and the ever popular chicken necks for crabbers, they have it all. In the fall when the Drum are running, they offer fresh mullet as well. Oh, and they also have those really cool Yeti coolers - my next purchase!
Corolla Bait & Tackle has In-shore/Back Country and Off-Shore charters available on the C-Therapy, C-Salt and C-Tales. They also have a pontoon boat available for Currituck Sound charters and sunset cruises-one of my favorites and a must if you haven’t done this before!
