Today is a sunny day with highs in the upper 40s. It's the kind of day that really makes me anxious for spring! The ocean is still rough from the Nor'Easter we had last week but it has calmed down significantly. We have a busy weekend coming up here on the Outer Banks. The Taste of the Beach is a 4 day event that starts tonight featuring local restaurants up and down the beach. Saturday is the Kelly's Running of the Leprechauns 8K followed by the Kelly's St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday in Nags Head. It's only going to get busier as we get closer to the rental season. With Easter only 2 weeks away, people are starting to come out of hibernation and open shops and restaurants to the public. It's a great time to visit.
