When Hurricane Sandy passed off the coast of North Carolina, the Outer Banks experienced ocean side flooding which damaged a lot of homes and businesses in Kitty Hawk and on Hatteras Island. The Beach Food Pantry was one of the places flooded and they lost everything. Corolla Classic Vacations wanted to help so we asked all of our guests and owners who checked in for Thanksgiving to bring non perishables to the office. We also asked our staff to make donations. We quickly filled up our donations table and were able to bring the first load of donations to the food pantry today. That's right, I said first load! We will be bringing a second load by the end of the week!
