Preparations are underway for the 4th Annual Duck and Wine Festival to be hosted by Coastal Cantina and Duck Waterfront Shops in partnership with the Currituck-Dare community. The event will be held Saturday, April 28, from noon to 2:45 p.m. at the Duck Waterfront Shops. Ticketholders will participate in the duck and wine cook-off prepared by a number of top area chefs and restaurants and help select the winners. A limited number of festival tickets, $30 each, are available for this rain or shine event by visiting DuckandWine.com or CoastalProvisionsMarket.com or by visiting coastal Provisions Market in southern Shores or Coastal Cravings in Duck. A special duck and wine getaway package, which will be offered just four time at the package price of $499 each (market value of $645), are on a first come, first serve basis. Each package includes a two-night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kitty Hawk, Friday night dinner at Coastal Provisions Wine and Bar Cafe for two, two tickets to the Duck and Wine event Saturday, and a welcome bag prepared by the Currituck-Dare board.
