1. Visit the Wright Brothers National Memorial in Kill Devil Hills.
2. NC Aquarium in Manteo
3. Festival Park in Manteo
4. Shopping in Tim Buck II and Monteray Plaza in Corolla
5. Shopping in Scarborough Faire and Scarborough Lane in Duck
6. Shopping at Tanger Outlets in Nags Head
7. Take a drive from the north end of HWY12 in Corolla to the south end in Hatteras.
8. Rent or drive your 4X4 vehicle to the northern beaches of Corolla to see the wild horses.
9. Get your hands on a copy of Outer Banks Mysteries and Seaside Stories and read it with the family.
10. Make sure there are no thunderstorms around then take a long walk on the beach to collect shells.
