This independent neighborhood bookshop beats those mega-stores hands down. The service is impeccable and the selection is great. All subjects are covered, including a good variety of fiction, local and regional books, children’s books, cookbooks, mysteries and more. New York Times Bestsellers hardbacks are discounted, plus there are audio books, puzzles and hand-painted greeting cards. If you can’t find what you want, special orders are welcomed and are prompt. They also have locations in Duck and Kitty Hawk.
